Poliogo is a software tool, not a law firm

Poliogo is an automated code analysis and document display tool, not a law firm. Poliogo does not provide legal advice, representation, or guarantees of statutory compliance, ADA/WCAG certification, or legal immunity. Visual banners and generated documents are advisory tools and do not substitute for professional legal review.

What Poliogo does

Poliogo scans your code, configuration and live pages to detect the third-party services your product uses, and assembles documents — Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Terms of Service and, for installable software, an End User Licence Agreement — from a maintained clause library built from published regulatory text. Every clause in a generated document maps to a service detected in your project or an answer you provided. The statutory sections come from that library unchanged; operational clauses — how your product handles data day to day — are drafted by an AI model from your answers and the services detected in your project.

What Poliogo does not do

• Poliogo does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation.
• Using Poliogo does not create an attorney–client relationship of any kind.
• Poliogo does not guarantee that a generated document satisfies every legal obligation that applies to you. Which obligations apply depends on facts about your business — where you operate, who your customers are, what you sell, and how you process data — that software cannot fully determine.
• Poliogo does not certify that a website conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) or complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the European Accessibility Act, Israeli Standard 5568 or any other accessibility law. The accessibility menu is a set of display controls a visitor can choose to use; it does not make a site accessible, and the accessibility statement Poliogo generates claims partial conformance only.
• Cookie banners, legal links and the other elements Poliogo displays on your site are advisory tools. Whether they satisfy a legal requirement depends on how your product is configured and operated, and using them does not confer immunity from complaints, claims, audits or enforcement.
• Poliogo does not review documents you have edited. Once you change a generated document, you are responsible for the changes.

Your responsibility

You remain responsible for your own legal compliance. Generated documents are a starting point built from what Poliogo detects about your product; you should read them, confirm they describe your business accurately, and have them reviewed by a qualified professional where your situation calls for it — for example, if you operate in a regulated industry, process sensitive data at scale, or face a specific legal question or dispute.

Accuracy of detection

Detection is automated and evidence-based, but no scanner is perfect. A service Poliogo does not recognise, or one integrated in an unusual way, may be missed. The confirmation step during onboarding exists so you can correct the detected list before any document is generated.
